"Patches" is more than just an animal portrait; it’s a heartfelt tribute to a cherished pet, showcasing his gentle nature and the strong bond between animal and owner. 

I was commissioned to paint Patches for his family. I painted him with black and white oils to bring out his expressive eyes and distinctive markings, highlighting the quiet strength and personality of this unique companion.
