“Lake and Beyond” Exhibition: A beautiful exhibition for lovers of art, birds and nature

In September I will be hosting the exhibition ‘Lake and Beyond’ with fellow artist Sylvie Carter.

Art enthusiasts and nature lovers are in for a treat with the upcoming joint exhibition that promises to be a celebration of Australia's vibrant avian life and the serene beauty of its iconic lakes. This exhibition is a unique opportunity to witness the convergence of two artistic visions, with each of us exploring the Australian natural world through different mediums and styles.

Why you will love my bird artwork

I am passionate about the beauty of Australian birds and this exhibition gives me the opportunity to showcase a collection of my pastel drawings and oil paintings. I hope that you are mesmerised by the delicate details of finches, the playful charm of a budgerigar, the vivid hues of rainbow bee-eaters, the wise gaze of an owl, the majestic Major Mitchell cockatoo, and the dainty grace of a wren plus more. In each artwork I strive to capture the physical beauty of these creatures, but also their individual personalities and the essence of their wild spirits.

Exhibiting with a talented artist

Complementing this avian gallery, I am proud to be exhibiting with my fellow artist, and friend, Sylvie Carter who is a remarkable artist, her paintings offer a glimpse into the life on and around Lake Burley Griffin and Lake George. Through her work, attendees will embark on a visual journey that encapsulates the tranquillity of the lakes' waters, the dynamism of the surrounding landscapes, and the diverse wildlife that calls these habitats home.
